BMW 5 Series Summary
Under the hood, the updated BMW 5 Series is offered with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine in the 520d M Sport guise. This engine produces 248bhp and 350Nm of torque. Also on offer are two diesel mills, a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder motor in the 520d Luxury Line guise, and a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder motor in the 530d M Sport guise. The former is capable of producing 188bhp and 400Nm of torque, while the latter produces 261bhp and 620Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the sole transmission on offer.
Changes to the exterior design of the new BMW 5 Series facelift include reworked front and rear bumpers, new LED headlamps with twin L-shaped LED DRLs, a reworked kidney grille, smoked tail lights, and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the 2021 BMW 5 Series facelift comes equipped with 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the iDrive 7 operating system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully digital instrument console, gesture control, four drive modes, HUD, BMW display key, remote control parking, and ambient lighting. The model receives safety features such as six airbags, TPMS, ABS with EBD, DSC, DTC, EDLC, CBC, EPB, and Isofix child seat anchorages.
