Mercedes-AMG is the 13th CKD model and the third AMG model to be introduced in the product portfolio. The performance focussed variant from the GLA is available in five colour options, which include – Polar White, Iridium Silver, Mountain Grey, Cosmos Black, and Denim Blue, and one on-request colour option, Patagonia Red.

Engine

The AMG GLA 35 4M is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine that churns out 302bhp and 400Nm of torque between 3,000 – 4,000rpm. This engine comes mated to the 8G-DCT transmission which powers all four wheels. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just 5.1 seconds.

Exterior

To distinguish the AMG GLA 35 4M from the regular version, the grille features vertically stacked slats with chrome, AMG bumper with flics on the air intakes, and other AMG specific design elements. The new Multibeam headlamps are hard to miss and complements the sloping bonnet design. The vehicle rides on 19-inch alloy wheels that are aerodynamically optimised and are painted in Tantalite Grey with a high-sheen finish. The rear section gets sporty detailing in the form of two twin diffusers for efficient aerodynamics, LED tail lamps, round exhaust with chrome, and curtain elements in the bumper to enhance its sharp characteristics.

Interior

The ergonomically contoured sport seats are wrapped in DINAMICA microfibre with red stitching, to complement its sporty character. The vehicle gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, twin digital displays, and attractive diffusers for a modern look. It also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen with the latest software version in the new telematics generation MBUX (NTG6). Additional feature highlights include – the Mercedes Me Connected services, Burmester surround sound system, and keyless Go package.
